I'm excited to welcome you to Rural Roots Photography. With my love and passion for all things rural and western, I specialize in capturing the perfect portrait of individuals with similar interests. From what started as a hobby, my work has turned into a joy that I can share with others who embrace the rural lifestyle.
My Story
I live on an acreage with my husband and daughter, along with our 2 Coonhounds (Charlie and Rebel), Great Dane (Walker), 3 horses (Angus, Stunner and Cisco) and countless chickens. I grew up in a small town in East Central Alberta and completed a University Degree in Agriculture at the University of Lethbridge in 2012. Since then, I have worked in the agriculture industry and enjoyed every minute of it. In 2020, I needed a little artistic outlet and picked up a camera. I've always enjoyed taking photos and it eventually evolved into portrait photography. I love helping families capture their memories so they have something to look back at for years to come. If I'm not working my day job or taking photos you can find me in the mountains with my horse and husband, in my reading room curled up with a book, or in the garden, most likely pulling weeds.
